2018 – the year of the grand plan?

I’ve adapted this post to look at 2018 instead of 2017; mid December is probably way too late to be considering what I’m aiming to achieve in the year!

So, 2018 will be an organising/tidying year. I’ve been building the family tree since 2005 according to my Ancestry subscription, and to be frank, it needs some pruning and more than a little organising.

After a disastrous attempt to use Family Tree Maker last year, I finally took the plunge and bout Roots Magic last month. Haven’t had time to do much with it yet, but it’s looking a lot more user friendly at the moment.

I know the demands of the WW1 project I’m involved with will be heavy next year, but I’m hoping the once the bulk of the work on that is completed I’ll have chance to spend some serious time getting to grips with sorting, tidying and pruning the family tree.
