I’ve been lucky enough to be test knitting a new pattern this week. The Tentacular shawl is probably more scarf sized than shawl sized, but is completely adaptable and could easily be made a large as you want it to. It’s mostly garter stitch, with lace panels worked from a really simple four row pattern. 100g of four ply (400yards) comfortably gave me seven pattern repeats, and I reckon 200g would give eleven patterns or 300g would give fourteen for a really big shawl. I love the shape, and suspect that there will be one or two of these made for Christmas this year. Once the pattern becomes available on Ravelry, I’ll add a link here.
